MUSCADINE GRAPES
The muscadine grape is native to the Southeastern region of the United States. Its thick skin provides protection against various detrimental diseases than can destroy a vineyard.
Log Cabin Farm & Vineyard is the first commercial vineyard established in Putnam County in the 20th Century. Most of our grapes are processed into commercial wine and the remainder are available for table grapes. We grow Noble, Carlos and Welder varieties of muscadines. Log Cabin Farm & Vineyard also grows Blanc Du Bois, a bunch grape variety developed by the University of Florida. |
